In the contemporary era, our planet has been experiencing an unprecedented energy shortage and degradation of the environment. The exhaustion of crude oil reserves, fluctuation in fuel prices, and the escalating environmental pollution problems are driving the researchers worldwide to search for sustainable alternative fuels.

Biodiesel is chemically defined as a methyl ester derived from natural oils such as vegetable oils, animal fats or used frying oils. Biodiesel is a clean-burning, renewable, non-toxic and biodegradable fuel that can be used alone or in blends with petroleum-derived diesel

Gia Green Energy ventured into production of biodiesel using crude palm stearin (CPS), the non-edible solid portion of palm oil, through alkali-catalyzed transesterification.

Although it is similar to Petro diesel, biodiesel has a higher flash point that makes it less flammable, contains no sulfur and benzene which are carcinogenic that makes biodiesel cleaner, saver and easier to handle than Petro diesel.

Basically biodiesel is made through transesterification of palm oil with Methanol and Sodium hydroxide. Such process is accomplished in batch or continuer at 50-70 o C. The products are biodiesel and glycerin.

Why us!

At Gia Green, we specialize in producing high-quality biodiesel using Used cooking oil, Palm Stearin and Animal Fat with latest technology to meet the global standards in terms of quality parameters for ignition quality, cold flow, oxidative stability, viscosity, and lubricity. Our products are specifically designed to meet the energy needs of diesel engines, but also be used as heating fuels.

Benefits of Bio Diesel & Glycerin

Reducing Foreign Oil Dependency

Opting for renewable energy like biodiesel will help reduce India’s dependence on foreign oil in combination with other sustainable measures.

Energy Efficiency

One of the primary benefits of using biodiesel is energy efficiency.

Positive Economic Impact

Another benefit of using biofuel is its positive economic impact.

High-Quality Engine Performance

A final benefit of using biofuels is that they offer high-quality performance. Biodiesel can be used in existing diesel engines with little or no modifications necessary to the system.

Reducing Greenhouse Gases

The use of renewable energy like biodiesel can help significantly reduce greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
